<image:caption>March 10, 2021. So nice, and so much easier to just plug stuff in. For jobsite food prep, the crock pot and drip coffee maker has been the way to go. After awhile it just becomes too much work to cook over a campfire. The novelty wears off…. Seriously considering adding a microwave to that corner for even easier dinner meals.</image:caption>

Drop in was preferred over undermount style. There is 23 inches of counter space to the right. Lot of these fixtures have been thru Build.com by Ferguson. Until further grading work can be done, this will buy a lot of time. Block masons have returned to lay a course on the uphill side of the foundation. This suddenly became a big deal. About to commit to the structure. Second leap of faith. A lot of effort in that “empty” space below the house. All the components for the well head can be serviced by removing the expanded metal via #2 square drive. <image:caption>A roof was added. 3R (outdoor) equipment doesnt need the protection, but 3R equipment is so dern expensive, and it is kinda supplying your home with electricity. This roof was built with 1/4” 2x2 Bar Stock and 1/8” angle iron. The bar stock is meant to catch impact of a fallen tree. Ultimately you can deal with aging equipmemt, damaged equipment, destroyed pedestal, but damage to the utility conductors or service entrance conductors is unplanned and catastrophic. Ultimately you are trying to protect the wires, not the gear, and not the wooded structure.</image:caption>

This one was added to ensure no water hammer exists, and if for some reason the main one fails, this smaller one will be me a little time. Also, a second tank is like having a larger first one. More reserve pressure allowing the pump to not run less, but cycle less.</image:caption>

<image:caption>View from the back looking toward the porch. The cornice had to be re-worked a little as metal soffit was not originally planned for, albeit it wasn’t done that correctly for wood either. ‍♂️ A string was set, and furring strips installed to get the area compatible for metal. It wasn’t expensive to fix, just time consuming. The cornice should have been the first thing to focus on, but sometimes you can’t do everything exactly when you want to. The felt paper was to create a barrier between the metal siding and the treated wood, with a consideration that the metal would lay smoother against it.</image:caption>

<image:caption>The cabin does not have much storage. Hence the large medicine cabinet. This bathroom wall was built with 2x8’s to accommodate a deep medicine cabinet. Overall size is 22.5 wide by 31.5 tall. 9.25 inches deep. The door was built from red maple, ordered from online cabinet door builder. They did a great job. Built exactly to requested specs, or close enough at least. First time installing slow close hinges. Regular hinges would have probably worked just fine.</image:caption>

<image:caption>This was cool. Finally capped that edge of the shower wall. Ripped a notch down a piece of basswood and capped it. Stained it dark walnut, and water-based poly afterwards. Can’t believe this idea worked, but it did. Plugged the holes with oak wood plugs.</image:caption>

<image:caption>The mantle piece was reworked. The beam would have been fine, but needed a cleaner look. Used “select” pine stained with dark walnut. Will add Poly coat next visit. Let the stain cure out a day or so. Added a cap trim to give the impression the stone work continues up. Used minimal trim and painted eggshell to blend with this cieling. This stone product (concrete) must be washed before install and after to help it look better. Sep 11 2025.</image:caption>
